ON AMONTHLY BASIS, THE NEW YORK YANKEES FOUNDATION ALLOCATES GRANTS TOVARIOUS COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS, WHICH PROVIDE POSITIVEEDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, AND SOCIAL OUTLETS.
THE NEW YORK YANKEES FOUNDATION AND MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERINGCANCER CENTER PARTNERED TO ESTABLISH THE YANKEES UNIVERSE FUND. APORTION OF THE PROCEEDS GENERATED FROM THE SALE OF YANKEESUNIVERSE MERCHANDISE AND TEAM FAN CLUB PACKAGES ARE DEDICATED TOTHE CANCER CENTER'S PROGRAMS IN PEDIATRIC PATIENT CARE, RESEARCHAND EDUCATION.
