THE FOUNDATION FACILITATES AND PROVIDES ONGOING MENTORING, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ACADEMIC COLLABORATIONS FOR SCHOLARS AND ALUMNI OF THE FACULTY SCHOLARS PROGRAM TO IMPLEMENT THE GOALS OF THE GRANT-MAKING INITIATIVE. THIS IS CARRIED OUT PRINCIPALLY THROUGH ORGANIZING SEMI-ANNUAL MEETINGS WHERE SCHOLARS OBTAIN FEEDBACK ON THEIR RESEARCH AND MENTORING ON CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO CONVENES AND FUNDS MEETINGS OF THE GREENWALL FACULTY SCHOLARS PROGRAM COMMITTEE TO OVERSEE THE PROGRAM.
THE WILLIAM C. STUBING MEMORIAL LECTURE WAS BROADCAST ONLINE ON NOVEMBER 1, 2021 AND FEATURED DR. ANTHONY S. FAUCI, DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ALLERGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES, ANDDR. CHRISTINE GRADY, CHIEF OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOETHICS AT THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH CLINICAL CENTER "CONFRONTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND ETHICAL CHALLENGES OF COVID-19" MODERATED BY DR. SANJAY GUPTA, CNN'S CHIEF MEDICAL CORRESPONDENT. MR. STUBING SERVED AS PRESIDENT OF THE FOUNDATION FOR 21 YEARS.
