PERFORMANCE PRESENTATIONS:DUE TO STATE AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER'S PERFORMANCE SPACES WERE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FISCAL YEAR. JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER (JALC) MIGRATED PERFORMANCES TO ONLINE AND THE JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER ORCHESTRA WITH WYNTON MARSALIS WAS ABLE TO TOUR, TO A LIMITED EXTENT, BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.


EDUCATION AND OUTREACH: DUE TO STATE AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER'S PERFORMANCE SPACES WERE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE THE FISCAL YEAR. JALC SUCCESSFULLY MIGRATED MANY OF ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ONLINE. EDUCATION PROGRAMMING INCLUDED JALC'S ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL BAND COMPETITION AND FESTIVAL, A JAZZ APPRECIATION CURRICULUM FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, A MIDDLE SCHOOL AND A HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ ACADEMY, AN EARLY CHILDHOOD AND ADULT EDUCATION COURSES AND OTHER MUSIC EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.


FACILITY OPERATIONS: DUE TO STATE AND LOCAL, REQUIREMENTS IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, FREDERICK P. ROSE HALL (FPRH) WAS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC THROUGHOUT THE FISCAL YEAR. JALC WAS ABLE TO PRODUCE, TO LIMITED EXTENT, ITS VIRTUAL CONTENT AND PROVIDE PRODUCTION SERVICES OF VIRTUAL CONTENT FOR OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS BY FOLLOWING STATE MANDATED GUIDELINES.


MEDIA AND OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDING JAZZ CONGRESS, AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE DESIGNED TO BRING TOGETHER ARTISTS, MEDIA AND INDUSTRY LEADERS IN THE GLOBAL JAZZ COMMUNITY TO EXCHANGE IDEAS IN ORDER TO NURTURE AND GROW THE JAZZ COMMUNITY. DUE TO SHUTDOWNS RELATED TO COVID 19, JALC EXPANDED ITS DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION OF ITS CONCERT AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING.
