DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE FOUNDATION WAS UNABLE TO CONDUCT ITS SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGN STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION PROGRAM.IN LIEU OF THE COMPETITION PROGRAM, THE FOUNDATION INVITED OVER FIFTY NATIONALLY ACCREDITED SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES OF INTERIOR DESIGN LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ("ID SCHOOLS") TO SUBMIT GRANT REQUESTS FOR PROGRAMS THAT SEEK TO ADVANCE INTERIOR DESIGN EDUCATION OR OTHERWISE MEET THE FOUNDATION'S STATED PURPOSES. THE FOUNDATION FUNDED GRANT REQUEST PROPOSALS MADE BY NINE OF THE ID SCHOOLS, AMOUNTING TO $449,403 AWARDED (IN LIEU OF THE COMPETITION PROGRAM).
