ODYSSEY IMPACT DRIVES SOCIAL CHANGE THROUGH INNOVATIVE STORYTELLING AND MEDIA, CONNECTING FAITH AND SECULAR COMMUNITIES. ODYSSEY IMPACT HARNESSES THE GOODWILL OF FAITH BASED AND SECULAR ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD AWARENESS, CHANGE ATTITUDES AND CATALYZE ACTIONS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE THROUGH AWARD-WINNING FILMS, IMPACT PROGRAMS, AND EMPOWERING COALITIONS OF CHANGE MAKERS.

SECOND SHOT MADE ITS FILM FESTIVAL DEBUT, AUGUST 11TH, AT THE MARTHA'S VINEYARD AFRICAN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL! THE FILM WAS ALSO AN OFFICIAL SELECTION OF THE CHAGRIN DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL, THE CHARLOTTE FILM FESTIVAL, THE SOCIAL JUSTICE FILM FESTIVAL, AND THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL CHANGE FILM FESTIVAL, WHERE IT WAS AWARDED BEST FILM FOR INCARCERATION/CRIMINAL JUSTICE RELIEF.THE IMPACT COMPLETED THE STRATEGIC PHASE OF THE SECOND SHOT SOCIAL IMPACT CAMPAIGN, INCLUDING CONDUCTING THE LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS, BRAIN TRUST, STRATEGIC PLAN, TOOLKIT CREATION AND FILM PREMIERE AND LAUNCH EVENT PREPARATION SET FOR THE CAMPAIGN LAUNCH DECEMBER 7, 2022. WE HAVE ALSO SECURED A $75,000 GRANT FROM THE JUST TRUST TO SUPPORT THE IMPACT CAMPAIGN FOR THE FILM, ALL I SEE IS THE FUTURE, SET FOR A 2023 LAUNCH. ADDITIONALLY, WE ARE THRILLED THAT ODYSSEY IMPACT HAS AWARDED THE SHORT FILM, LONG LINE OF LADIES, THE #MYJUSTICE FILM AWARD AT THE DOC NYC 2022 FILM FESTIVAL.FAITH-BASED CORPORATE DE&I INITIATIVES FOLLOWING OUR ATTENDANCE AT THE DARE TO OVERCOME CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON DC. OI HAS BEEN WORKING TO FOLLOW-UP WITH LEADS REPRESENTING CORPORATE FAITH ERG LEADERS, CHAPLAINS AND DE&I LEADERS COMMITTED TO BUILDING AND SUPPORTING THEIR INTER-FAITH AND FAITH-BASED AFFINITY GROUPS WITHIN THEIR CORPORATIONS. CHAPLAINS INCLUDING FATHER GREG MCBRAYER, CHIEF FLIGHT CONTROLLER/ CHAPLAIN, AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT CONTROL IOC, CHRISTIAN EBRG GLOBAL LEAD, DIR. DFW AIRPORT CHAPLAINCY WAS ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN OUR HEALING THE HEALERS SERIE.MYJUSTICE FILM AWARD WAS ATTENDED BY ALL FILMMAKERS AND INDUSTRY LEADERS AT THE NBC STUDIOS THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF DOC NYC, RAPHAELA NEIHAUSEN INTRODUCED THE AWARD AND RELATIONSHIP TO DOC NYC.
