INVEST IS A GRASSROOTS PROGRAM THAT TEAMS HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE EDUCATORS WITH VOLUNTEERS FROM THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY TO PROVIDE INSURANCE INSTRUCTION VIA AN ONLINE CURRICULUM AND PROMOTE INSURANCE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDENTS. INVEST CONTINUES TO SEE GROW RAPIDLY ACROSS THE UNITED STATES IN HIGH SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES, WITH 33% OF THE SCHOOLS OFFERING THE INVEST PROGRAM TO DIVERSE OR MINORITY-BASED SCHOOL POPULATIONS. IN ADDITION, INVEST CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS PROGRAMMING WITH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT GROUPS THAT SERVE MINORITY POPULATIONS. INVEST CURRENTLY WORKS WITH APPROXIMATELY 950 EDUCATORS AND IS ACTIVE IN 50 STATES WITH OVER 34,500 STUDENTS LEARNING ABOUT INSURANCE AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES THIS SCHOOL YEAR. INVEST PROVIDES AN INSURANCE EDUCATION AND CAREER PATHWAYS FOR STUDENTS INCLUDING JOB SHADOWING, SCHOLARSHIPS, CAREER COACHING, INTERNSHIPS AND IS PARTNERING WITH SEVERAL INSURANCE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS.
