PLACEMAKING IS A MULTI-FACETED APPROACH TO THE PLANNING, DESIGN, AND MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC SPACES. THE KEY TO SUCCESFUL PLACEMAKING IS INVOLVING COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE AT THE CORE OF PLANNING THEIR OWN COMMUNITY AND HELP CREATE PUBLIC PLACES WHERE PEOPLE WANT TO BE. OUR ONGOING PLACEMAKING PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO EDUCATE AND BRAINSTORM WITH RESIDENTS AND OFFICIALS HOW TO CREATE WELCOME PLACES, IMPROVE THEIR ZONING, AND GROW THEIR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES.
