THE AWTE OPERATES AN INTERNATIONAL YOUTH HOSTEL UNDER THE NAME: INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CENTER THAT OFFERS A SAFE SPACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO SHARE AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER. THE YOUTH HOSTEL OFFERS YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND THE WORLD DORMITORY-STYLED ACCOMMODATION FOR WHICH IT CURRENTLY CHARGES FEES PER NIGHT.
THE AWTE OPERATES THE ARTS FOR PEACE PROGRAM, A PEACE EDUCATION INITIATIVE USING THE ACRONYM P.E.A.C.E. PEACE EDUCATION THROUGH THE ARTS, CULTURE AND EXPOSURE WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF DEMONSTRATING THE VALUE OF THE ARTS AS A SIGNIFICANT EDUCATIONAL AND INSPIRATIONAL CATALYST TO SPREAD IDEAS OF PEACE AND JUSTICE IN OUR LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.
