THE GOLDMAN SACHS CHARITABLE GIFT FUND ("GOLDMAN SACHS GIVES") IS A DONOR-ADVISED FUND AVAILABLE TO CURRENT AND RETIRED SENIOR EMPLOYEES OF GOLDMAN SACHS. GOLDMAN SACHS GIVES MAINTAINS DONOR ADVISED ACCOUNTS FROM WHICH DONORS AND DONOR ADVISORS CAN RECOMMEND GRANTS TO QUALIFIED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. GOLDMAN SACHS GIVES IS COMMITTED TO FOSTERING INNOVATIVE IDEAS, SOLVING ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ISSUES, AND ENABLING PROGRESS IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES GLOBALLY.

SEE SCHEDULE OTHE GOLDMAN SACHS CHARITABLE GIFT FUND ("GOLDMAN SACHS GIVES") ACCOMPLISHES ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY RECEIVING CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS AND MAKING GRANTS EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, LITERARY, OR EDUCATIONAL OR RELIGIOUS PURPOSES, PRIMARILY TO ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 170(B)(1)(A) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED (THE "CODE"). THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AS A "SPONSORING ORGANIZATION" WITHIN THE MEANING OF CODE SECTION 4966 AND MAINTAINS DONOR ADVISED FUNDS. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2023, THE ORGANIZATION MADE APPROXIMATELY 8,000 GRANTS TOTALING $198 MILLION; APPROXIMATELY $94 MILLION WAS MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR NEED BASED SCHOLARSHIPS, FINANCIAL AID AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.
