THE C.A.N. HELP!, PROGRAM INCREASED THE AMOUNT OF SUPPLEMENTED FOOD, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, AND TOILETRIES GIVEN FOR THE YEAR BY $30,000 COMPARED TO LAST YEAR. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED MASKS AND CLEANING SUPPLIES TO ASSIST WITH COVID-19 SAFETY, BUILT A HANDICAP RAMP FOR EASY HOME ACCESS AND PROVIDED A GRANT TO COVER THE EXPENSES OF BUILDING A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE SHOWER, AND PROVIDED BEREAVEMENT GRANTS FOR THE WIDOW OF A U.S. MARINE CORP. VETERAN. THIS PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS GAVE OUT CLOTHING, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, AND DELIVERED 2,500 C.A.N. HELP! BAGS WITH ITEMS TO BATTERED WOMEN, NURSING HOME RESIDENTS, ISOLATED ELDERLY IN INCOME-BASED HOUSING, SINGLE PARENTS, HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, AND DISADVANTAGED VETERANS. THE ORGANIZATION'S OFFICERS, KEY EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS CONDUCTED 1-ON-1 VISITS WITH ISOLATED ELDERLY.
OPERATION TEACHING INTEGRITY TO DEVELOPING YOUTH (AND PERSONS WITH LEARNING CHALLENGES) CONTRIBUTED TO THE PROCUREMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF A HYDROPONICS GARDEN, GAVE A CAR TO A MEDICAL STUDENT, PROVIDED BUSINESS COACHING AND GAVE GRANT MONEY FOR THE PURCHASE OF VIDEOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPED AND RUN BY A YOUNG MAN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES.
