MICHIGAN TRAILS/GREEWAYS ALLIANCE ADVOCATES FOR TRAILS POLICY AND WORKS DIRECTLY WITH LOCAL TRAIL GROUPS TO CARRY POLICY POSITIONS TO THE LEGISLATURE AND HELP TO ADVANCE FUNDING ISSUES AT THE STATE LEVEL. THE STAFF AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO STATE, REGIONAL AND LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS ON ALL ASPECTS OF TRAIL PLANNING, ACQUITION, DEVELOPMENT, OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE.
