EASTERN NEW YORK YOUTH SOCCER'S GOAL IS TO IDENTIFY PLAYERS OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER ON A CONTINUING AND CONSISTENT BASIS, WHICH WILL LEAD TO INCREASED SUCCESS FOR THE REGIONAL AND US NATIONAL TEAMS.
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE US SOCCER FEDERATION, THE EASTERN NEW YORK YOUTH SOCCER COACHING EDUCATION PROGRAM OFFERS COACHES EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AND A PLAYER-CENTERED APPROACH. THE COURSE OPTIONS RELATE DIRECTLY TO SMALL-SIDED GAMES AND THE RESPECTIVE AGE-GROUPS OUTLINED IN THE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES.
THE EASTERN NY YOUTH SOCCER STATE CUP IS A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE, SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT COMPRISED OF PREMIER AND TOP TIER TEAMS. ADVANCING TEAMS PLAY IN THE FINALS. THE STATE CUP CHAMPIONS IN EACH AGE GROUP ADVANCE TO PLAY IN THE PRESTIGIOUS REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. REGIONAL WINNERS PROCEED TO THE US YOUTH SOCCER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
