ORGANIZATION SUPPLIES FUNDS TO LOCAL POSTS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND HOSPITALS TO RUN PROGRAMS FOR VETERANS IN HOSPITALS AND HOMES IN NEW YORK STATE AND DONATIONS OF VARIOUS ITEMS TO OVERSEAS TROOPS.
PERSONAL CARE KITS, MODEL KITS, AND PUZZLES ARE DISTRIBUTED TO NEW YORK STATE HOSPITALS AND HOMES FOR USE BY VETERAN PATIENTS AND RESIDENTS (EXPENSE INCLUDES TRAVEL TO DELIVER ITEMS). EVENTS ARE HELD AND ITEMS ARE SUPPLIED TO TROOPS AT LOCAL FORTS AND BASES.
SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN NEW YORK STATE. IN ADDITION, A CAREER CENTER IS SUPPLEMENTED TO TRAIN RETURNING VETERANS AND UNEMPLOYED VETERANS TO AID THEM IN PROCURING EMPLOYMENT.
