SEE SCHEDULE OHISTORICALLY, THE BRIDGEPORT HOSPITAL AUXILIARY, INC. WAS INCORPORATED AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT NON-STOCK CORPORATION UNDER THE NON-STOCK CORPORATION ACT OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT. THE AUXILIARY'S PURPOSE WAS TO SUPPLEMENT BRIDGEPORT HOSPITAL'S INTERNAL SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES TO PATIENTS AND PERSONNEL UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION, PROMOTE GOOD PUBLIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE HOSPITAL AND THE COMMUNITY, AND INITIATE FUND-RAISING PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE HOSPITAL, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HOSPITAL. THE AUXILIARY'S PRIMARY SOURCES OF SUPPORT WERE A GIFT SHOP OPERATED IN THE BRIDGEPORT HOSPITAL AND TWO FUND-RAISING EVENTS. OTHER SOURCES OF SUPPORT INCLUDED MEMBERSHIP FEES AND DONATIONS.ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2020, ON APPROVAL OF THE BOARD THIS ENTITY WAS DISSOLVED AND ITS ASSETS WERE TRANSFERRED TO ITS SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION, BRIDGEPORT HOSPITAL.
