THE MISSION OF THE HOPKINS COUNTY COMMUNITY CLINIC IS TO PROVIDE MEDICAL AND MEDICATION ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME WORKING CITIZENS OF HOPKINS AND WEBSTER COUNTIES USING VOLUNTEER PROFESSIONAL STAFF. IN ADDITION THE CLINIC ALSO PROVIDES HEALTH SCREENINGS, FLU SHOTS, AND INFORMATIVE HEALTH FAIRS TO THE PUBLIC. THE CLINIC'S INTENTION IS TO HELP THOSE WHO ARE MAKING A SINCERE EFFORT TO HELP THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE CLINIC PROVIDES MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND MEDICATIONS TO APPROXIMATELY 53 LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS FREE OF CHARGE (182 TOTAL VISITS). PATIENT EDUCATION IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF PROVIDING THE FREE MEDICAL SERVICES.
