OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE THE CITIZENS OF THE REGION THROUGH ACCESSING RESOURCES IN SUPPORT OF REGION NINE DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE THOSE NEEDS. ALSO TO IMPROVE SERVICES IN THE REGION.

REGION NINE AREA INC WAS MOSTLY DORMANT OF PROJECTS FOR THE LAST FISCAL YEAR DUE TO STAFFING TURNOVER AND PAST PROGRAMS HAVING COME TO COMPLETION. THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO HELP ADMINISTER PROJECTS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE QUALIFY AS NON-PROFIT IN NATURE, BUT DON'T HAVE THE LEGAL STATUS TO DO SO. THIS WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE GOAL OF THE ORGANIZATION GOING INTO THE FUTURE.
