THE INSTITUTE PROVIDES ADVANCED TRAINING, CONTINUING EDUCATION AND SYMPOSIA FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE SCIENCE AND INSURANCE PROFESSIONALS, EDUCATIONAL LEADERS AND PUBLIC SERVANTS. INSTITUTE FACULTY IS COMPOSED OF HIGHLY ACCOMPLISHED SPECIALIST AND INNOVATORS RECOGNIZED IN ALL AREAS OF FORENSIC SCIENCE AND CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DISCIPLINES.

LEE INSTITUTE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE LINKS SCHOLARS, STUDENTS, FORENSIC SCIENTISTS, THE LEGAL COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTITIONERS IN MANY FIELDS IN ADDRESSING THE SCIENTIFIC AND SOCIAL ISSUES CONFRONTING FORENSIC SCIENCE AND THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. THE TRAINING CENTER PROVIDES ADVANCED POSTGRADUATE TRAINING, WORKSHOPS AND SYMPOSIUMS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, FORENSIC SCIENTISTS, LAWYERS, JUDGES, PHYSICIANS, DENTISTS, EDUCATORS, THE LEGAL COMMUNITY AND GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS OF FORENSIC SCIENCE AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE. THE ACTIVITIES OF THE RESEARCH LABORATORIES INCLUDE CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, HUMAN BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION, DNA, AND OTHER BIOLOGICAL EVIDENCE, TELE-FORENSIC COMMUNICATIONS AND CYBERCRIME DETECTION.
