EDUCATION AND HOPE WAS FOUNDED ON THE BELIEF THAT EDUCATION IS A FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT, AND THAT ALL THE WORLD'S CHILDREN DESERVE THE CHANCE TO BE EDUCATED. WE BELIEVE THAT EDUCATION IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE MEANS TO TRULY BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY. A PROMISE IS MADE TO EACH CHILD WELCOMED INTO THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM THAT WE WILL PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THEM FOR AS LONG AS THEY WISH TO CONTINUE THEIR STUDIES, THE ONLY CONDITION BEING THEIR COMMITMENT TO STUDY.

INCREASE ACCESS TO EDUCATION FOR 175 CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN THE WESTERN HIGHLANDS CITY OF QUETZALTENANGO, GUATEMALA, BY PROVIDING THEM WITH MONTHLY SCHOLARSHIPS, AS WELL AS BY OFFERING REINFORCEMENT FOR 95 STUDENTS THROUGH AN ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. DIRECTLY AFTER THE SCHOOL DAY ENDS, TUTORING IS OFFERED ALONG WITH TWO NUTRITIOUS MEALS, ACCESS TO HOT SHOWERS, AND MEDICAL ATTENTION
CASA ESPERANZA IS A HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM THAT OFFERS SMALL HOME IMPROVEMENT GRANTS TO SINGLE MOTHERS, ENABLING THEM TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS TO KEEP THEIR HOMES SAFE TO LIVE IN.
