THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY COLLABORATING WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO FUND PROGRAMS THAT ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING, PROMOTE STUDENT WELL-BEING, AND EXPAND TEACHER RESOURCES.

CLASSROOM GRANTS FOR EXCELLENCE - EACH YEAR, NEF AWARDS GRANTS FOR PROPOSALS IN ALL SUBJECT AREAS THAT FOSTER, AMONG OTHER CRITERIA, OVERALL VALUE AND CREATIVITY, COLLABORATING AMONG GRADES, CLASSES AND CULTURES, PARTNERSHIPS WITH PARENTS AND THE COMMUNITY, MEETING CURRICULUM OBJECTIVES, IMPROVING OPPORTUNITY AND ACHIVEMENT, A CLEARLY DEFINED EVALUATION PROCESS, LONG TERM SUSTAINABILITY, AND REPLICATION POTENTIAL FOR OTHER SCHOOLS.
