THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE TOLLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION INCLUDE FUNDING A WALL-MOUNTED MEDIA DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR THE CHILDRENS PROGRAM ROOM, PROVIDING FUNCTIONALITY AND VERSATILITY TO THE EXISTING SPACE. AS PART OF NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK, THE FOUNDATION HOSTED A CAMPAIGN TO RECOGNIZE AND THANK THE LIBRARY STAFF, WHO HAD BEEN OUTSTANDING IN SUPPORTING TOLLAND RESIDENTS DURING THE PANDEMIC. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDED ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR HOOPLA, A POPULAR STREAMING SERVICE FOR E-BOOKS AND OTHER DIGITAL MATERIAL AVAILABLE TO ALL LIBRARY PATRONS; BRAIN HQ, A PERSONALIZED COGNITIVE BRAIN TRAINING SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE, AVAILABLE TO ALL PATRONS VIRTUALLY FROM HOME; TWO MOBILE HOTSPOTS FOR 1 YEAR, AVAILABLE TO LEND TO PATRONS WHO MAY NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY INTERNET CONNECTIVITY AT HOME; AS WELL AS SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR ONLINE SERVICES ANCESTRY.COM, JOBNOW, EVENTKEEPER AND TUMBLEBOOKS. THE FOUNDATION HOSTED THE ELEVENTH SEASON OF THE EATON-DIMOCK-KING AUTHOR SERIES.
