AS CARETAKERS, THE LAST GREEN VALLEY CONNECTS PEOPLE WITH THE ABUNDANT AND DIVERSE NATURAL, HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES WITHIN EASTERN CONNECTICUT AND SOUTH-CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS. WE ADVOCATE TO SUSTAIN OUR REGION'S LEGACY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
PRODUCED BROCHURES AND LITERATURE, INCLUDING A VISITORS GUIDE, TO HELP EDUCATE PEOPLE CONCERNING THE LAST GREEN VALLEY NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR. FUNDED PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS TO HELP CARE FOR, ENJOY, AND PASS ON THE NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR'S RESOURCES. IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR THERE WERE 20 PRIMARY PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS ALL AIMED TO SERVE THE RESIDENTS AND VISITORS TO THE CORRIDOR, WHICH NUMBERS APPROXIMATELY 300,000 RESIDENTS AND 1.25 MILLION VISITORS.
