ANNUAL MEETING: MEETING OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS WORKING IN THE FIELD OF HEART FAILURE TO PRESENT AND DISCUSS NEW RESULTS FROM CLINICAL TRIALS, BASIC SCIENCE ADVANCES, AND NEW TREATMENT MODALITIES FOR HEART FAILURE. THE 2021 ASM WAS HYBRID VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON OFFERING 40+ SESSIONS, OVER 340 ABSTRACTS, AND ATTRACTED OVER 2,300 ATTENDEES.
EDUCATION AND PROGRAMS: 1) INITIATIVES AIMED AT EDUCATING CARDIOLOGISTS AND THE COMPLETE HEALTHCARE TEAM (NURSES, PHARMACISTS, PAS, AND OTHER HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WITH A SPECIAL INTEREST IN HEART FAILURE). 2) FOCUSED MEETINGS HELD WHEN PARTICULAR ISSUES RELATED TO HEART FAILURE COME TO THE FOREFRONT (MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT, REGULATORY ISSUES FOR TREATMENT AND/OR CLINICAL USE, ETC.)
