THE AMITY REGIONAL AQUATIC CLUB HAD AN OUTSTANDING YEAR IN 2020-2021 EVEN WHILE DEALING WITH THE PANDEMIC.THE CLUB COMPETED IN USA SWIMMING. THE SWIMMERS ACHIEVED GREAT SUCCESS WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR PERSONAL BEST TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ARAC ATTENDED/HOSTED OVER 10 MEETS DURING THE YEAR, THIS WAS MUCH LESS THAN PREVIOUS YEARS DUE TO COVID. ALL TEAM MEMBERS ARE REGISTERED WITH CONNECTICUT SWIMMING AND USA SWIMMING. THERE WERE NOT TRADITIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS DURING SHORT COURSE THIS YEAR BUT OUR TEAM HOSTED A "REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP LIKE MEET WHERE 59 OF OUR SWIMMERS COMPETED.AGAIN, IN LONG COURSE, OUR TEAM HOSTED A "REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP LIKE EVENT WHERE 39 OF OUR SWIMMERS COMPETED.6 LC SWIMMERS ATTENDED THE CT SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP MEET.12 LC SWIMMERS ATTENDED THE CT AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETING IN MULTIPLE EVENTS.4 LC SWIMMERS ATTENDED THE EASTERN ZONE SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP IN NY.1 LC SWIMMER JOINED AT TEAM CONNECTICUT FOR THE LC EASTERN ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP IN VA.
