MERCANTILE EXCHANGE - NORWICH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OWNS AN $18.9 MILLION, 81,000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN NORWICH. THIS BUILDING HAS A 20-YEAR LEASE FOR WHICH NCDC IS THE LESSOR. THIS IS SHOWN AS A CAPITAL LEASE RECEIVABLE ON THE BOOKS.
DOWNTOWN AND BOND PROGRAM - OVERSEEING THE CITY OF NORWICH'S REVITALIZATION INITIATIVE FOR DOWNTOWN NORWICH. THE PROGRAM IS MADE UP OF THREE COMPONENTS: FUDNING FOR CODE UPGRADES, A REVOLVING LOAN FUND AND LEASE SUBSIDIES FOR QUALIFYING BUSINESSES.
