THE ORGANIZATION HAS OPERATED UNDER THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT JUDICIAL BRANCH GRANTS, AS WELL AS THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN, RELATING TO A CAREER PATHWAYS COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIP EFFORT TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. THE JUDICIAL GRANTS WERE FOR THE ORGANIZATION TO CONDUCT PUBLIC EDUCATION AND A RESEARCH PROJECT ON INTERMEDIATE SANCTIONS (IE) THOSE SANCTIONS BETWEEN TRADITIONAL PROBATION AND INCARCERATION, AND TO DEVELOP AND AUDIT STANDARDS ON THE JUDICIAL BRANCH'S ALTERNATIVE SANCTION PROGRAMS.
