THE PURPOSE OF THE KENT LIBRARY ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO ENSURE THAT THE KENT MEMORIAL LIBRARY ACCOMPLISHES AND ADHERES TO ITS MISSION OF ENRICHING THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING MATERIALS, PROGRAMS,AND SERVICES TO ENCOURAGE READING, LEARNING,AND IMAGINATION.

KENT MEMORIAL LIBRARY CIRCULATES ADULT BOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, MUSIC CDS, AND DVDS. THE LIBRARY CIRCULATES CHILDRENS BOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, MUSIC CDS, AND DVDS. THE LIBRARY PARTICIPATES IN AN INTERLIBRARY LENDING PROGRAM WHERE THE KENT LIBARY LOANS RESOURCES AND BORROWS RESOURCES FOR THEIR PATRONS. IN ADDITION TO CIRCULATING MATERIALS, THE LIBRARY OFFERS A WIDE VARIETY OF PROGRAMS FOR ALL AGES, FROM MUSIC AND STORY PROGRAMS FOR THEIR YOUNGEST PATRONS, TO LECTURES, BOOK GROUPS, ART SHOWS AND MORE FOR ALL OTHER AGE GROUPS. THE LIBRARY HOLDS PROGRAMS ON PREMISES AND AT MANY OFF-SITE LOCATIONS, BASED ON NEED AND INTEREST.
