PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO NURSES & NURSING STUDENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND PUBLICATION OF RESEARCH. THE CNF IS AN ORGANIZATON WHOSE PRIORITIES FOCUS ON - SUPPORTING NURSING EDUCATION & RESEARCH - MAINTAINING AN ARCHIVE & ITEMS OF HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE TO NURSING IN CONNECTICUT - ENSURING THE FUTURE OF NURSING & THE QUALITY OF HEALTH CARE DELIVERY. CNF ENSURES THE AVAILABILITY OF NURSES COMMITTED TO A RESEARCH BASED PRACTICE, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME ADVANCING THE SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATION FOR THE PRACTICE. THE CNF IS COMMITTED TO THE SUPPORT OF ITS NURSING PEERS, MANY OF WHOM COULD NOT ENGAGE IN ACADEMIC PURSUITS WITHOUT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
