PROVISION OF A SOUP KITCHEN, FOOD PANTRY, AND DAY SHELTER IN RIVERSIDE, RHODE ISLAND. WE HAVE SERVED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE EAST PROVIDENCE AND PROVIDENCE AREAS SINCE 1990.

DISTRIBUTIONS OF FOOD AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO THE RESIDENTS OF EAST PROVIDENCE, RI. THE SOUP KITCHEN PREPARES AND DELIVERS HOT MEALS TO LOCAL RESIDENTS. IN 2021, OVER 6,000 HOT MEALS WERE DELIVERED TO LOW INCOME, ELDERLY AND DISABLED INDIVIDUALS. IN 2021, THE FOOD PANTRY PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO THOUSANDS. THERE WERE NEARLY 4,000 HOUSEHOLD VISITS TO THE FOOD PANTRY WHICH SERVED OVER 2,500 INDIVIDUALS. ADDITIONALLY, WE DISTRIBUTED APPROXIMATELY 1,500 ARTICLES OF CLOTHING TO OUR OWN PATRONS AS WELL AS TO 7 OTHER SMALL NOT-FOR-PROFIT GROUPS FOR THEIR AT RISK POPULATIONS.
