THE BOOKMOBILE CIRCULATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAM CIRCULATED DELIVERED TO NEARLY 150 RESIDENTS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT BE ABLE TO TO GET LIBRARY MATERIALS ON A REGULAR BASIS. VISITATIONS WERE LIMITED DUE TO COVID.
ADULT (92 PROGRAMS IN 2021) AND CHILDREN'S (81 PROGRAMS IN 2021) READING PROGRAMS OFFERED PARTICIPANTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO WRITE AND POST COMMENTS ABOUT WHAT THEY READ. OVER 10,157(9,251 ADULTS, 806 CHILDREN IN 2021) PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN BOTH PROGRAMS.PROGRAMS WERE GREATLY LIMITED DUE TO COVID AND WERE PROVIDED VIRTUALLY.
THE EDWIN SMITH HISTORICAL MUSEUM IS OPEN TWO DAYS A WEEK WHILE OVER 500 SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN VISITED THE MUSEUM TO LEARN ABOUT COLONIAL DAYS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND INDUSTRY IN WESTFIELD. THE VISITATIONS WERE LIMITED TO COVID.
