THE INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS (INSNA) SPONSORS AN ANNUAL SOCIAL NETWORK CONFERENCE (THE "SUNBELT CONFERENCE") WHICH PROVIDES A VENUE FOR SCHOLARS INTERESTED IN THEORY, METHODS, OR APPLICATIONS OF SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS TO SHARE IDEAS AND EXPLORE COMMON INTERESTS.
INSNA PUBLISHES A BULLETIN CALLED "CONNECTIONS", WHICH CONTAINS ORIGINAL EMPIRICAL, THEORETICAL, AND METHODOLOGICAL ARTICLES, AS WELL AS CRITICAL REVIEWS DEALING WITH APPLICATIONS OF SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS AS THE OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE INSNA. THE EMPHASIS OF THE PUBLICATION IS TO RELFECT THE EVER-GROWING AND CONTINUALLY EXPANDING COMMUNITY OF SCHOLARS USING NETWORK ANALYTIC TECHNIQUES. CONNECTIONS ALSO PROVIDES AN OUTLET FOR SHARING NEWS AND SOCIAL NETWORK CONCEPTS, TECHNIQUES AND NEW TOOLS FOR RESEARCH.
INSNA CHARGES DUES FOR MEMBERSHIP TO RESEARCHERS INTERESTED IN SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS. MEMBERS RECEIVE REDUCED CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES, REDUCED SUBSCRIPTION RATE FOR THE JOURNAL, AND ACCESS TO A BANK OF NETWORK DATASETS. ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS INCLUDE TIMELY NOTIFICATIONS OF CONFERENCES, SYMPOSIA, AND WORKSHOPS IN NETWORK ANALYSIS HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE MANY COUNTRIES REPRESENTED BY INSNA.
