Part 3 - Line 4a
MANSION TOURS - BOTH GUIDED AND SELF-GUIDED TOURS ARE OFFERED DAILY AND YEAR-ROUND. THE PURPOSE IS TO TEACH PEOPLE THE HISTORY OF VENTFORT HALL, TO TEACH PEOPLE ABOUT THE GILDED AGE, AND TO INTERPRET OUR EXHIBITS, RESTORATION AND ARCHITECTURE. THIS IS OUR MAJOR SOURCE OF EARNED INCOME.
LECTURES AND VICTORIAN TEA - LECTURES ARE PERFORMED AT VENTFORT HALL TO TEACH PEOPLE ABOUT THE GILDED AGE. TICKETS ARE SOLD IN ADVANCE OR AT THE DOOR.
PLAYS & EVENTS - VENTFORT HALL'S PLAYS AND EVENTS ARE PRODUCED BY VENTFORT HALL AND IN COOPERATION WITH VARIOUS ARTS ORGANIZATIONS. PERFORMANCES RUN FROM THE END OF JUNE THROUGH LABOR DAY WEEKEND AND DURING THE WINTER. REVENUE IS GENERATED VIA TICKETS SOLD IN ADVANCE AND AT THE DOOR. PLAYS AND EVENTS TAKE PLACE IN THE GREAT HALL WHERE A STAGE IS CONSTRUCTED AND ON THE MANSION'S SURROUNDING GROUNDS. THE PURPOSE IS TO HELP FULFILL OUR MISSION TO TEACH PEOPLE ABOUT THE GILDED AGE AND TO DO SO THROUGH AN ENGAGING AND ENTERTAINING FORMAT.
