THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO OPERATE AN INSTITUTION FOR THE FURTHERANCE OF JEWISH EDUCATION TO MEN AND WOMEN OF ALL AGES, BUT PRIMARILY POST-HIGH SCHOOL AGE. IT OPERATED WITH EIGHT FULL-TIME RABBIS-IN-TRAINING AND TWO DEANS, OFFERING FREE CLASSES AND LECTURES TO THE PUBLIC BOTH ON-SITE AND AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE GREATER BOSTON AREA, AS WELL AS SELF-STUDY FACILITIES ON AN ON-GOING BASIS.
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED LIMITED INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE FOR LOW-INCOME PEOPLE AS WELL AS GRANTS TO LIKE-MINDED ORGANIZATIONS.
