CAPACITY-BUILDING OF GRANTEES - THE NEW ENGLAND BIOLABS FOUNDATION, IN COLLABORATION WITH PARTNER INSTITUTIONS, CONDUCTS CAPACITY-BUILDING PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE TRAINING AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS GRANTEES IN ITS TARGET REGIONS. IN 2022, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CREATIVE ACTION INSTITUTE, THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED: AN IN-PERSON WORKSHOP FOR GRANTEES FROM GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, BELIZE AND MEXICO, WHO ALSO PARTICIPATED IN A SERIES OF VIRTUAL TRAINING MODULES. IN ADDITION, 10 NEBF GRANTEES WERE PROVIDED WITH COACHING AND MIN-GRANTS TO IMPLEMENT 10 CREATIVE ACTION PRACTICUMS IN COMMUNITIES IN GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, BELIZE, NICARAGUA, PERU AND CAMEROON.
