CRISIS SERVICES: ASSISTS ADULTS AND TEENS IN DESPAIR OR DISTRESS IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE. 80,000 CALLS AND 7,000 TEXTS WERE ANSWERED DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022. CALLS ARE ANSWERED 24 HOURS PER DAY.
GRIEF SUPPORT SERVICES: PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THOSE WHO HAVE LOST A LOVED ONE TO SUICIDE. ATTENDEES AT SAFEPLACE, SURVIVOR TO SURVIVOR NETWORK VISITS AND AFTER SUICIDE GRIEF WORKSHOPS TOTALED 1,940.
OUTREACH & EDUCATION PROGRAMS: PROVIDE EDUCATION TO GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS ABOUT REDUCING THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022, 245 EVENTS AND SUICIDE PREVENTION WORKSHOPS WERE HELD WITH 5,515 PARTICIPANTS.
