BOSTON THEOLOGICAL INTERRELIGIOUS CONSORTIUM IS A CONSORTIUM OF MAJOR THEOLOGICAL SCHOOLS IN THE BOSTON AREA. THROUGH THE CONSORTIUM, THEOLOGY STUDENTS CAN CROSS-REGISTER FOR COURSES AND SHARE THE LIBRARY RESOURCES OF ALL MEMBER INSTITUTIONS. THE INSTITUTE ALSO CONDUCTS WORKSHOPS AND PRODUCE LITERATURE THAT PROMOTES ECUMENCIAL EDUCATION, COMMUNICATION, AND UNDERSTANDING.

LIBRARY - THE LIBRARY EXPENSES REPRESENTS THE PURCHASE OF DIGITAL DATABASE SUBSCRIPTION THROUGH EBSCO LIBRARY SERVICES. THIS COMMON PURCHASING ALLOWS CONSIDERABLE SAVINGS FOR THE INDIVIDUAL LIBRARIES. THESE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS, FACULTY AND OTHER LIBRARY.ALL RECEIPTS RECEIVED FROM MEMBERS ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO EBSCO BY THE ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION IS AN AGENT FOR THESE FEES AND DOES NOT RECEIVE ANY REVENUE FROM THESE TRANSACTIONS, ALTHOUGH TO FACILITATE UNDERSTANDING, THE EXPENDITURES ARE SHOWN ABOVE AS OFFSETTING REVENUE AND EXPENSE.
