WITH ITS WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMS, EVENTS AND SERVICES IT IS ONE OF THE NATION'S PREEMINENT PUBLIC MEDIA INSTITUTIONS.AS THE LARGEST PRODUCER OF CONTENT FOR PBS AND PARTNER TO NPR AND PRX, GBH DELIVERS COMPELLING EXPERIENCES, STORIES AND INFORMATION TO AUDIENCES WHEREVER THEY ARE. THIS YEAR NOVAS DOCUMENTARY DECODING COVID-19 BROUGHT VIEWERS INTO THE FRONTLINES AS DOCTORS STRATEGIZED TO STOP THE SPREAD AND RESEARCHERS RACED TO DEVELOP TREATMENTS AND VACCINES. THE PROGRAM WON A 2021 ALFRED I. DUPONT-COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AWARD.FOR 50 YEARS, GBH KIDS GROUNDBREAKING CHILDRENS PROGRAMMING HAS EMPHASIZED INCLUSION. IT BEGAN WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL SERIES ZOOM, CREATED ALMOST ENTIRELY BY CHILDREN. ARTHUR, THE FIRST DAILY ANIMATED SERIES ON PBS, TEACHES SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING, AND THIS YEAR IS COMPLETING ITS 25TH AND FINAL SEASON. THE SERIES WILL LIVE ON WITH NEW CONTENT ON NEW PLATFORMS, INCLUDING A PODCAST AND TIKTOK CHANNEL.
