THE GREATER BOSTON REAL ESTATE BOARD (THE "BOARD") WAS INCORPORATED IN 1889 AS A PRIVATE NOT-FOR-PROFIT MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND SERVICE FOR THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY AND IS THE OLDEST AND LARGEST REAL ESTATE BOARD IN MASSACHUSETTS. THE BOARD REPRESENTS ITS CONSTITUENCY BY OFFERING MEMBERSHIP IN THE FOLLOWING DISTINCT DIVISIONS:GREATER BOSTON ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS ("GBAR")AS THE BOARD'S LARGEST DIVISION, GBAR PROVIDES EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN ITS CENTER FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELING ON THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS CODE OF ETHICS, ARBITRATION SERVICES AND INDUSTRY STANDARDS REAL ESTATE FORMS.MASSACHUSETTS APARTMENT ASSOCIATION ("MAA")MMA REPRESENTS AND PROTECTS THE INTEREST AND RIGHTS OF RENTAL HOUSING OWNERS AND MANAGERS THROUGH THE STATE.
