OUR MISSION IS TO ENRICH THE EXPERIENCE OF EVERY STUDENT EVERY DAY BY PROVIDING FUNDING AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP IN THE EDUCATION SPACE.

ATHLETICS - THE SDUHSD IS THE LOWEST FUNDED HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT IN CALIFORNIA. CONSEQUENTLY, THEIR TOTAL FUNDING FOR ATLETICS IS LIMITED TO FEWER THAN ONE COACH PER TEAM. ALL OTHER EXPENSES INCLUDING ADDITIONAL COACHES, UNIFORMS, SUPPLIES, OFFICIALS, AND TRANSPORTATION ARE FUNDED THROUGH THE CCA FOUNDATION.
ACADEMICS- AS THE LOWEST FUNDED HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT IN CALIFORNIA, EACH ANNUAL DEPARTMENT BUDGET FOR ACADEMICS IS LESS THAN 10,000. THE SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING BY THE CCA FOUNDATION IS CRTITICAL TO PROVIDE EVERYTHING FROM BASIC CLASSROOM NEEDS TO A FULL ARRAY OF ENRICHMENT RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS.

FUNDING FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR ENVISION IS VERY LIMITED. THE CCA FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR ALL THE ARTS AT CANYON CREST ACADEMY. THESE INCLUDE VOCAL MUSIC, INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC, THEATER, CINEMA, HUMANITIES, DANCE, AND VISUAL ARTS.
