OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE OUR CHANGEMAKERS PROGRAM INTRODUCING VERMONTERS ASPIRING TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES TO EACH OTHER AND TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED CHANGE THROUGH SOCIAL AND BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
EDUCATIONAL EVENTS: THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS VBSR'S LARGEST EVENT WITH OVER 350 VIRTUAL ATTENDEES LEARNING FROM SPEAKERS AND WORKSHOPS ON SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. OUR ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY, WHICH SHOWCASES INDIVIDUALS AND COMPANIES WITH LEADERSHIP ACHIEVEMENTS THAT MODEL THE TRIPLE-BOTTOM-LINE PHILOSOPHY, WAS IN PERSON FOR 2021. IN THE SUMMER, WE HELD 2 NETWORKING EVENTS IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE STATE, HIGHLIGHTING DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF EACH HOST BUSINESS SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES. OVER THE COURSE OF 2021 VBSR CONTINUED TO OFFER VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS WHICH HAVE BEEN WELL ATTENDED SINCE THE START OF COVID.
POLICY EDUCATION: THROUGH WORKSHOPS, FORUMS, NEWSLETTERS, AND WHITE PAPERS, WE HELP EDUCATE BUSINESSPEOPLE, LEGISLATORS, COMMUNITY LEADERS AND OTHER DECISION-MAKERS ABOUT TRIPLE-BOTTOM-LINE POLICY ISSUES RELATED TO BUSINESS.
