THE WINDSOR PUBLIC LIBRARY ENCOURAGES ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO PURSUE KNOWLEDGE, ENRICHMENT AND ENJOYMENT THROUGH SHARED READING MATERIALS DIGIAL RESOURCES, PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. THE LIBRARY SERVES COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN WINDSOR VT AS WELL AS THE SURROUNDING AREA

PROVIDE LIBRARY SERVICE OF LENDING MATERIALS SUCH AS BOOKS, DVD'S PERIODICALS, AUDIOBOOKS CD AND DOWNLOADABLES), DOWNLOADABLE EBOOKS AS WELL AS SPECIAL MATERIALS SUCH AS BACKPACKS, YO-YO'S, AND MICROSCOPES. PATRONS MAY BORROW DIRECTLY FROM THE LIBRARY OR TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR HOME DELIVER SERVICE. WE HAD 18480 PATRONS VISIT WITH JUST OVER 20000 ITEMS (BOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, DVD'S, MUSUEM PASSES AND OTHER MATERIALS) BORROWED BY PATRONS IN 2021. WE ASSISTED OVER 850 WITH REFERENCE QUESTIONS.
PROVIDE LIBRARY PROGRAMS FOR BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN AND ENCOURAGE KNOWLEDGE, ENRICHMENT AND ENJOYMENT AS STATED IN OUR MISSION. PROGRAMS INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PRESCHOOL STORYTIME, AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM, SUMMER READING PROGRAM, TEEN AND ADULT BOOK DISCUSSIONS. THE LIBRARY'S SUMMER READING THEME WAS "LIBRARIES ROCK" WHICH INCLUDED A TOWN-WIDE ROCK HUNT IN WHICH NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESS PARTICIPATED TOGETHER. EVERYONE EITHER KNOW ABOUT OR WAS PARTICIPATING IN THIS ADVENTURE! WE HELD OVER 200 PROGRAMS-FROM 3D-DOODEL TO MAHJONG TO KNITTING, TO SPANISH CONVERSATION, GENEALOGY AND SO MUCH MORE.
PROVIDE HIGH SPEED ACCESS TO HIGH SPEED INTERNET THROUGH SHARED PUBLIC COMPUTERS, AS WELL AS OPEN-ACCESS WIFI. STAFF IS AVAILABLE FOR ONE-ON-ONE TUTORIALS ON USAGE OF COMPUTERS,IPADS, E-BOOK READERS AN SIMILAR DEVICES. WE RECORDED OVER 7650 VISITS TO THE LIBRARY TO USE OUR COMPUTERS AND PUBLIC WIFI SERVICE.
