CH/DHC WORKS WITH THE CONCORD DIVISION OF THE DARTMOUTH HITCHCOCK CLINIC AND CONCORD HOSPITAL TO PROVIDE PRIMARY AND SPECIALTY CARE PHYSICIAN SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE CONCORD COMMUNITY. THE INTEGRATED RELATIONSHIP IS INTENDED TO IMPROVE THE COORDINATION OF MEDICAL CARE IN THE COMMUNITY WHILE REDUCING AND CONTROLLING AGGREGATED COSTS. THE COLLABORATION ALSO RECOGNIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF LOCAL CONTROL AND RESPONSES TO LOCAL HEALTHCARE NEEDS. THE STRUCTURE ALLOWS DARTMOUTH HITCHCOCK CLINIC AND CONCORD HOSPITAL TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN A COST EFFECTIVE AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER, ALLOWING FOR THE EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF SCARCE RESOURCES WHILE ENSURING CHOICE OF SERVICE FOR PATIENTS.EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 30, 2015 THIS JOINT AGREEMENT COLLABORATION WAS TERMINATED AND ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF RESIDUAL ACTIVITY WAS RECOGNIZED ON THE STATEMENT OF OPERATIONS THIS YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION HAS FORMALLY DISSOLVED AND CEASED ALL ACTIVITIES ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2017.
