SUPPORT TO THE MAGIC LANTERN INNOVATION CENTER FOR YOUTH ORIGINALLY OPENED IN 2021. FOCUS IS ON YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAMS IN SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY, THE VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS, LEADERSHIP AND NUTRITION. THE MAGIC LANTERN INNOVATION CENTER OFFERS QUALITY HANDS-ON LEARNING, YOUTH INTERNSHIPS, AND LARGE GROUP SPECIALTY PROGRAMS IN THE STEM AND ARTS AREAS. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS THAT INSPIRE YOUTH ASPIRATIONS, ENGAGE CHILDREN AND TEENS IN LIFELONG LEARNING AND IN APPLIED REAL LIFE EDUCATION.


RESTRICTED PROGRAM SUPPORT BASED ON DONOR DIRECTED GIFTS TO PROGRAMS, PRIMARILY DIRECTED TOWARD OUR LEARNING CENTERS. OUR RESTRICTED GIFTS SUPPORT FACILITY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAMS, CLUBS, HOME SCHOOL GROUPS AND SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS. PROGRAMS FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, ECOLOGY, OUTDOOR SKILLS AND SCIENCE BASED LEARNING.


SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION, EARLY COLLEGE AND TECHNICAL/TRADE SCHOOL PROGRAMS. THE MAINE 4-H FOUNDATION SUPPORTS YOUTH GOING TO COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES AND TRADE SCHOOLS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. MANY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE SUPPORTED THROUGH ENDOWED FUNDS DESIGNATED BY OUR INCREDIBLY DEDICATED 4-H DONORS. SCHOLARSHIPS RANGE FROM 1000 TO 2500.
