ANGEL COVERS IS A GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION STRENGTHENING HEALTHCARE AND EDUCATION IN RURAL COMMUNITIES WHERE CHILDREN ARE VULNERABLE TO MALNUTRITION, TRAFFICKING, AND DISEASE, TO ENSURE EVERY CHILD'S LIFE IS FULL OF HEALTH AND OPPORTUNITY. IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION OPENED A CLINIC IN KENYA THAT WILL SERVE A POPULATION OF MORE THAN 20,000 PEOPLE, WHERE THE NEAREST HOSPITAL IS OVER TWO HOURS AWAY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES VITAL HEALTH SERVICES IN A REGION THAT EXPERIENCES HIGH LEVELS OF NEONATAL MORTALITY, MALNUTRITION, AND DISEASE. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED THE GATE PROGRAM IN NORTHERN THAILAND PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO KEEP GIRLS IN SCHOOL AND SAFE FROM TRAFFICKING. THE ORGANIZATION TACKLED THE TWO CRITICAL AREAS THAT ROB CHILDREN OF THEIR FUTURES-LACK OF EDUCATION AND LOW ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE.OUR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS ARE LESS THAN 6% AND WE HAVE PROVIDED THOUSANDS OF VOLUNTEER HOURS THROUGH THE COMMITTED EFFORTS OF MORE THAN 25 VOLUNTEERS. DIRECTORS IN CHARGE OF MONITORING AND OVERSEEING PROGRAMS WORK MORE THAN 40 HOURS A WEEK TO ENSURE THE BEST POSSIBLE PROGRAMS FOR THE CHILDREN WE SERVE. EVERY DOLLAR DONATED TO ANGEL COVERS IS USED TO PROVIDE PROGRAM SERVICES TO ORPHANS AND CHILDREN.MORE THAN 100 CHILDREN IN CHINA AND KENYA ARE SPONSORED AND RECEIVE EDUCATION, MEALS, SHELTER, AND MEDICAL CARE. ANOTHER 1,500 CHILDREN HAVE RECEIVED ONGOING SUPPORT FROM ANGEL COVERS IN THE FORM OF BLANKETS, MEALS, BASIC MEDICAL CARE, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES IN OUR 16 YEAR HISTORY. FOR EXAMPLE, THE HUMBLE HEARTS SCHOOL IN NAIROBI, KENYA, WITH MORE THAN 400 CHILDREN, RECEIVED FUNDS FOR TEACHERS' SALARIES, TEXTBOOKS, FOOD, CONSTRUCTION NEEDS, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
