GIRLS ON THE RUN OF SILICON VALLEY (GOTRSV) IS A LIFE-CHANGING AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR 8-14 YEAR OLD GIRLS. OUR GOAL IS TO EDUCATE AND PREPARE GIRLS FOR A LIFETIME OF SELF-RESPECT AND HEALTHY LIVING. GIRLS MEET IN SMALL TEAMS TWICE WEEKLY FOR TEN WEEKS. THROUGH OUR LESSONS, GIRLS ARE EMPOWERED WITH GREATER SELF-AWARENESS, A SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT AND A FOUNDATION IN TEAM BUILDING TO HELP THEM BECOME STRONG, SELF-CONFIDENT WOMEN WHO EMBRACE THEIR OWN UNIQUE QUALITIES. WE SERVE GIRLS FROM ALL INCOME LEVELS, BACKGROUNDS AND ATHLETIC ABILITIES AND PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
