THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS TO ASSIST THE PARTICIPANTS IN GAINING THE ACADEMIC, JOB READINESS, AND LIFE SKILLS NECESSARY TO LEAD INDEPENDENT ADULT LIVES FILLED WITH STEWARDSHIP, COURAGE, PASSIION AND JOY.

SERVING YOUTH AGES 10-18, MY PLACE TEEN CENTER PROVIDES SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, JOB AND LIFE SKILLS, AND LEADERSHIP SCAFFOLDING VIA ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE THROUGH CLASSES, TUTORING, COMPUTER LABS, AND SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGLISH, AND THE ARTS, AND MATH (STEAM) PROGRAMS. MPTC PROVIDES AN INTENSIVE FOCUS ON MENTAL HEALTH AND POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT, ENSURING SAFETY AND PROVIDING DAILY MEALS. MPTC ALSO FOCUSES ON HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT THAT BUILDS STRONG CHARACTER AND SELF- ESTEEM.
