SPURWINK PROVIDES OUT-OF-HOME TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN 1) RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITIES IN CUMBERLAND, ANDROSCOGGIN, KENNEBEC AND SOMERSET COUNTIES SERVING ABOUT 60 YOUTHS PER YEAR; 2) SIX SPECIAL PURPOSE PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE 4 COUNTIES ABOVE AND A THERAPEUTIC PRE-SCHOOL IN YORK COUNTY SERVING 164 STUDENTS PER YEAR; AND 3) TREATMENT FOSTER HOMES IN SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL MAINE SERVING ABOUT 36 CHILDREN PER YEAR.
SPURWINK PROVIDES OUTPATIENT AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS - CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND ADULTS LIVING WITH MENTAL HEALTH OR INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES OR SUSPECTED ABUSE.
