THE MOUNT DESERT NURSING ASSOCIATION SERVES THE TOWN OF MOUNT DESERT IN HOMECARE SERVICES, FREE HEALTH ASSESSMENTS, COOKING INSTRUCTION, A LOAN CLOSET AND NUMEROUS OTHER HEALTH PROGRAMS THAT PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF OUR RESIDENTS.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES WERE OFFERED; MEDICARE HOME HEALTH, PALLIATIVE CARE,IN HOME PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, MONTHLY BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT LOANS. IN 2021, OUR THIRD YEAR OF MEDICARE ACCREDITATION MDNA DELIVERED 1104 RN VISITS, 1075 PHYSICAL THERAPY VISITS, 747 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY VISITS, 9 HOME HEALTH AIDE VISITS. WE ALSO DELIVERED UNDER OUR SELF PAY PROGRAM, 157 HOME HEALTH AIDE VISITS, 17 PHYSICAL THERAPY VISITS,15 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY VISITS AND 321 SKILLED NURSE VISITS UNDER OUR PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT PROGRAM WE PROVIDED 245 VISITS.
