MISSION:

TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL EDUCATION COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS WHO WILL BE CONTINUING THEIR EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY GRANTS WHICH SUPPORT VARIOUS YOUTH GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS.

MISSION:

THE CENTER IS THE ONLY DUALLY DESIGNATED FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTER LOOK-A-LIKE AND COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH CENTER IN WEST VIRGINIA. THE CENTER PROVIDES PRIMARY CARE, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, DENTAL, WOMEN'S HEALTH, PEDIATRICS, AND AN ARRAY OF OUTPATIENT AND RESIDENTIAL SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENTS TO THE RESIDENTS OF LOGAN, MINGO, BOONE, CABELL, GREENBRIER, LINCOLN, AND WYOMING COUNTIES.

MISSION:

THE SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC. WILL SEEK TO SECURE EXTERNAL SOURCES OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY, STAFF, AND ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AT SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE THROUGH SPECIAL EVENT FUNDRAISING, DONOR RELATIONS, INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT, AND COMMUNITY PHILANTHROPY.

MISSION:

BRING TOGETHER MATERIAL, FINANCIAL AND HUMAN RESOURCES OF THE PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR OF THE COMMUNITY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE BY CHANGING THE LIVES OF LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS SO THAT THEY BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT THROUGH INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, AND TO PROVIDE FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES THE NECESSARY TOOLS THROUGH A HOLISTIC SERVICE DELIVERY SYSTEM THAT WILL ENABLE THEM TO ATTAIN AND MAINTAIN SELF SUFFICIENCY.
