MISSION:

TO SERVE THE WV SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE (THE "WVSOM"), ITS FACULTY, STUDENTS AND ALUMNI AS AN ADDITIONAL FUNDING SOURCE THROUGH FUNDRAISING, MANAGING FUNDS, AND OVERSEEING DISTRIBUTION OF THESE FUNDS. IT ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY ENGAGING IN THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: 1) SOLICITATION OF RESTRICTED AND UNRESTRICTED CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS, 2) INVESTMENT OF AVAILABLE LIQUID ASSETS, 3) AWARDING TO QUALIFIED STUDENTS, FACULTY OR STAFF OF WVSOM CERTAIN GRANTS OR SCHOLARSHIPS, 4) RENTAL OF A CONFERENCE/EVENT FACILITY LOCATED ON THE CAMPUS OF WVSOM, 5) MAKING BRIDGE FINANCING LOANS FOR STUDENTS IN NEED.

MISSION:

APPALACHIAN HEADWATERS IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED TO IMPROVE STREAMS, FORESTS AND COMMUNITIES, AND TO CONDUCT ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION THROUGHOUT CENTRAL APPALACHIA

TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A MUSEUM THAT WILL PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF THE GREENBRIER AREA. THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROMOTE THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF THE AREA, PROMOTE EDUCATION EFFORTS IN THIS REGARD THROUGH EXHIBITS, STUDIES OF GENEALOGICAL AND ANTHROPOLOGICAL MATERIALS, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ARTIFACTS ENTRUSTED TO ITS CARE.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITY, CARNEGIE HALL, INC'S ("THE HALL'S") MISSION IS TO PRESENT AND PROMOTE QUALITY ARTISTIC PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBITIONS; EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY IN AND ABOUT THE ARTS; AND ENCOURAGE ACTIVE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION TO APPEAL TO A BROAD AUDIENCE WHILE PRESERVING THE HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PHYSICAL FACILITY.

THE CARNEGIE HALL FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO CREATE AND GROW A PERMANENT ENDOWMENT TO PROTECT THE FUTURE OF CARNEGIE HALL, INC. AS NECESSARY, THE FOUNDATION MAY USE A PORTION OF THE ENDOWMENT'S EARNINGS EACH YEAR TO SUPPORT CARNEGIE HALL, INC, ARTS EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE PROGRAMMING, OPERATIONS, AND PRESERVATION OF THE HISTORIC BUILDING.

GVRP, INC. IS AN ENTITY FOCUSED ON WATERSHED PROTECTION AND SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. GVRP IS CONCENTRATING ITS INITIAL EFFORTS IN TWO AREAS: PUBLIC FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTER AND CHARITABLE OPEN SPACE IN LEWISBURG, WV.

THE GREENBRIER REPERTORY THEATRE COMPANY, ALSO KNOWN AS THE GREENBRIER VALLEY THEATRE (THE ORGANIZATION), WAS ORGANIZED IN 1967 AS A WEST VIRGINIA NONPROFIT CORPORATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ENTERTAINMENT AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO THE PUBLIC IN GREENBRIER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA AND SURROUNDING AREAS. THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO CREATE LIVE, PROFESSIONAL QUALITY THEATRE IN WEST VIRGINIA AND THROUGH THEATRE TO ENGLIGHTEN, ENRICH AND ENLIVEN THE LIFE OF THE REGION.

OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY IS A PLACE OF COLLABORATION, TRUST, AND CIVILITY. WE ARE A COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS WITH CLASSES FROM 18 MONTHS TO 5TH GRADE.

MISSION:

THE PURPOSE IS TO ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF THE WEST VIRGINIA SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE A WV INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION BY COORDINATING AND CONDUCTION ACTIVITIES AND FUND RAISING EFFORTS AMONG WVSOM ALUMNI. WVSOM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AWARDS TWO SCHOLARSHIPS PER YEAR TO DESERVING MEDICAL STUDENTS. ADDITIONALLY GRANT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO THE WVSOM FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING PROJECTS THAT ARE NOT WITHIN THE WVSOM BUDGET. SPONSORED VARIOUS CONTINUING EDUCATION SEMINARS DURING THE YEAR.
