IN ADDITION, MECA WISCONSIN POLICE CANINE VEST FOUNDATION ALSO RAISES FUNDS FOR WISCONSIN POLICE K-9 DOGS AND EQUIPMENT TO PROTECT AND SERVE THE PUBLIC. IN ORDER TO FURTHER ITS PURPOSES, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROTECTIVE GEAR FOR ANIMALS UTILIZED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE, RESCUE, AND OTHER AGENCIES AS WELL AS CARE FOR SUCH ANIMALS, AND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE UNABLE TO PAY FOR EMERGENCY VETERINARY SERVICES.
